This week is flying by and I wanted to capture some of the cute things that Avery has said this about her baby sister. At the start of the week when we first came home, Avery was simply excited to have us home with her. She was pretty impartial to Cate...didn't really pay attention to her but wasn't bothered by her either. As the days have gone by and as we've incorporated Avery more into our daily routine with Cate, she has really warmed up to her baby sister. She has asked me if baby Cate is going to stay in our house and live with us. And just this morning when I went in her room to get her up, she immediately asked "Where is my sister". If you know Avery well or have been here in the morning when she gets up, you know that she goes from zero to sixty super fast. She will immediately start talking about wanting to play with whatever and what she wants for breakfast and who she's going to see that day etc. So for Cate to be the first thing on her mind was a big deal!
And because I said I would put some pictures up of both girls so you can see their similarities, here you go. Even in just a week, Cate is looking less like Avery and more like her own person. But the
resemblance is still there and we've both caught ourselves calling Cate Avery. It's hard not too!
