A Very Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter today with the Shelfers. We got all dressed up for church and enjoyed a great service. When we went to drop Avery off in her classroom though they weren't open yet because of the change of time for all the services. So Avery enjoyed big church with us at least until the singing was over. She was really good but a little chatty so she and Mark went out into the foyer and watched the service out there.
This face is becoming too common when it's time to take pictures...she was upset with me because I told her to stay still and kept pulling her back when she tried to run away. I think the terrible ones have begun:)
When we came home from church we let Avery dig into her Easter basket from the Easter bunny! She really enjoyed pulling all of her goodies out and she loved the keys that the Easter bunny gave her so she would leave Mommy's real keys alone.
We headed over to Nana and Pops house around 11:30 and played awhile until GiGi showed up for Easter dinner. As we were fixing our plates, Avery decided she had had enough. So we put her down for a nap and were pleasantly surprised when she slept for 2 hours. After her nap, we went outside to have an Easter egg hunt. And she surprised us again when she actually picked up all the eggs and put them in her basket. And then she took them all out and threw them across the patio!!!

We hope you had as wonderful an Easter as we did!

Love,

The Shelfers
