Splash Park

We took Avery to the splash park near our house when we got home from the lake on Sunday. She missed her nap due to being in the car (sleeping in the car is so 6 months ago:) so when we got home she was awake and hyper and ready to party. To make it easier for all involved, we got out of the house so she could burn off her energy.
The park is really neat...on one side is the splash pad and on the other side is a really cool playground. Actually two playgrounds- one for bigger kids and a toddler size park. Avery wanted to roam back and forth between the water and the playground. Note to self...buy her some water shoes so I don't have to constantly put her shoes on and take them off. The girl wore herself ragged over the weekend between our lake house adventures and a fun afternoon at the splash park. Needless to say that without a nap and all this fun, she went to bed early and she crashed hard!!! Oh to be a toddler:)
