Our New Year's Eve

For our first family New Year's Eve, we decided to take Avery out to dinner at Ninfas. It was her first restaurant experience and she slept all through dinner giving us the chance to enjoy our Mexican food and margaritas. All through my pregnancy, the only thing I really missed and couldn't have were margaritas. I really think it was because they were so icy and cold and I was constantly thirsty and parched. So I REALLY enjoyed my margarita!!!

These were the beverages of choice for the evening...Similac formula and champagne! I poured myself a glass, took Avery's bottle out of the refrigerator and turned around and saw them sitting next to each other and I couldn't help but laugh. This New Year's Eve celebration is a little different from our previous ones. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Avery enjoying "dinner" with Dad before going down for the night.
We were really trying to stay up until midnight but there was nothing on tv. Mark got all four seasons of "The Office" for christmas and we were in the middle of season 2 so we watched about 5 episodes just so we could laugh and stay awake!
The proof that we made it to midnight...we were in bed 5 minutes later!

We look forward to all that God has in store for us in the new year! 2008 was a wonderful year for us and we have so much to be thankful for. Mark graduated last May, has a great and stable job that he loves, my pregnancy was without complications and God gave us our beautiful Avery Grace! What more could we ask for?!?!
