This weekend we went on our first
road trip and took Avery to Dallas to see her grandparents. We had a wonderful weekend with lots of visitors and many people to meet. Avery did great in the car and slept most of the trip there and back. She got to meet my parent's best friends Mark and
Judiann Meyer, my longtime friend Danielle and Mark's Aunt Carol, Uncle Chris, cousin Kari and her little girl
Rylie. But most of all, Avery got to spend some quality time with
Grammie and
Gramps! We can't wait to go to Dallas and visit again soon!

Yeah, Avery is using her DUCKY blanket!!
wooo! it was so fun to see Avery! I showed my pictures to Blake and he was just ooohing and aaahing like any girl at a baby shower! ha ha. i want to hold her again! I can't get over how precious and mild mannered she is, now i'm going to have a hard time talking myself out of having a baby in grad school. I love you, so glad i got to see you guys
