Happy 1 month Avery!

Today is my sweet baby girl's one month birthday!!! I can hardly believe she has been in our lives for an entire month. I'm sure I'll look back at this post after many months and think how silly I was to be excited about one month old. Avery is doing great and thriving...last night she went down at 9 p.m. and slept until 4:30 this morning. Seven and a half hours is a long time!!! She is now smiling more and more and I think her smiles are purposeful smiles and not just gas:) She held onto a rattle today, although it was plush and not very heavy. We also took our first trip to the mall today! Shopping tired Avery out and she slept through the whole trip. She has developed some kind of rash on her face, neck, chest and shoulders...or maybe it's baby acne. I'm not sure but I will be calling the pediatrician tomorrow.
