Tummy Time Part II

Well I can't say that I've been religious about tummy time, but Avery is getting better with it. She has excellent head control for her age, even the pediatrician was amazed by my gifted and talented daughter. So we tried tummy time again today and she did great...five whole minutes before a melt down. And she looks so cute doing it too!

Okay, I'm done now...pick me up Mom!

I can't believe that Avery will be one month old tomorrow!!! In a way, it feels like a long month since so much has happened and she has grown so much. But it has also flown by...I feel like Avery has always been a part of our lives and I really can't remember what the days were like without her.

I'm not sure how much she weighs now or how long she is since we don't go to the doctor again until 2 months. But she is definitely changing and growing right before our eyes. She is eating about 4 ounces at every feeding which is between 3 and 3 1/2 hours. And at night, she can sleep up to 6 hours at a time, but that's on the high end. She still isn't the best of nappers and I've been swaddling her for naps as well as bedtime. Except right now she's "napping" in her crib without the swaddle and I'm listening to her fuss and cry:( I know that our schedule will only continue to get smoother and easier as time goes on!

And on a side note, Avery went on her first of many trips to Target today! I know she will love Target as much as Mommy does!!!
