Splishin' & Splashin'

To me summer starts when it gets hot enough that you need to bust out the water toys to cool off...which happened in April this year. We've been playing with the water table, sprinkler and baby pool for weeks now. So we were thrilled when our neighborhood pool finally opened two weekends ago...and even more thrilled when we got to go to our first birthday pool party of the summer!!!
We have done so much swimming already this summer and it's only just begun. Avery starts swim lessons next weekend and they couldn't come soon enough. She is a fish in the water but doesn't realize just how much there is to learn about swimming. I am thankful for the neighborhood pool, the baby pool, our good friends pool etc. It hit 100 degrees today which makes me think that this summer is going to be HOT, HOT, HOT.
