A little over a week ago I had an ultrasound and learned a lot about our "little" girl. We had scheduled this because Cate had been in every position except head down. The sonogram showed that she finally turned and was in the heads down position...hallelujah! She had lots of hair just like we found out her big sister had at this point of the pregnancy (I had an ultrasound with Avery at 38 weeks). They said she looked perfect and beautiful...and then told me that she was 7 pounds 8 ounces. Currently! Add an ounce to that and that was Avery's birth weight. If you aren't up to date with how much babies grow in the last few weeks, they put on around half a pound a week. That would put her at 9 pounds if I went all the way to my due date non less past my due date!!!!Being three weeks still away from my due date at the time of the appointment, the doctor and I had some things to discuss. Unless I go into labor on my own , we will induce sometime during the 39th week- probably mid week because of how my appointment falls that week. So in roughly 11 days or less we will have another daughter:) This little girl has been a drama queen the entire pregnancy. It started off very similar to my first pregnancy but quickly took a turn around half way through. While I gained twice as much weight with Avery and felt awful because I was so huge, this pregnancy has had many other symptoms that have made it more difficult. Between the pinched nerve back aches, the headaches, heart irregularities, crazy baby positions etc, I am ready to close this chapter and to meet Cate. Just like with Avery, I wonder what she will look like and what her personality will be. I can't wait to have her join our family...we have so much fun with Avery and I know we'll have double the fun with her AND Cate!

I know you are so excited about Cate arriving. I can't wait to see pictures when she's finally here!
P.S. - Hudson was 9lb 4oz when he was born so I know how you feel! (and Reagan was only 5lb 13oz...my little peanut!)
