Easter Celebrations
Avery loved Easter this year...not only did it include many visits with a costumed life size bunny but she actually listened as we explained about Jesus and his death on the cross. Between school, church and us she somewhat grasped what Easter is all about. Somewhat...as much as a 2 year old can. We enjoyed several Easter celebrations including the annual egg hunt our neighborhood hosts. She fought those kids for the eggs but wasted precious time opening each egg she retrieved and dumping it's contents in her basket before moving on.

The Easter bunny brought a basket of goodies for Avery and she loved every bit of it! Grammie and Grandpa were in town (Grandpa was painting Cate's nursery) so they were able to see Avery in her Easter dress and see all the awesome things in her basket.

We had a beautiful Easter service at church and enjoyed the rest of the day at Nana and Pops house where there was of course more egg hunting! We are so thankful for our Savior who died and rose again.
