Mixed Potty Feelings
I bought Avery a big girl potty while we were at the store today. She hasn't shown me any signs of wanting to potty herself but she says "tetetete" whenever I go to the restroom. I've read that now is the time to introduce potty training so we're starting really slow. Avery wasn't too sure what to think of the potty...

Any advice from any moms out there who have travelled the potty-training road before is greatly welcome!!!

no advice to share, but wanted to comment on that last picture. love the look on her face! priceless!
We're still in the pre-stages of potty training too. I think it was around 18 months when we bought Reagan a potty and we would just talk about it a little and she would sit on it before we gave her a bath. Some times she would go and other times not. Now that she's two, she shows a little more interest in it. We have a few books we read about pottying, and she goes on it pretty much every night - she gets two M&Ms. I'm not pushing it too much b/c from what I've noticed, the people who wait until their child is really interested seems to transition easier. I'm just going off her cues for now. If she turns 3 & still isn't potty trained, then we'll see...
have you heard about the "3 day method"? i have NOOOO idea what it is - BUT I have heard it works?
