A Real Haircut

You may recall this post over a year ago when Avery had her first haircut given by yours truly...and she's had another trim or two since then. But it was time to call the professionals in because Avery was beginning to look like Cousin It! So off we went to Cool Cuts 4 Kids to get her many hairs trimmed!

She did really well! She sat in a big yellow taxi and watched Sesame Street on the little tv in front of her. She enjoyed a lollipop but eventually had to trade it for the paci:) The only things that made her upset was when the lady put the cape around her neck. She was not a fan of that. So no cape for Avery. And when she would blow the hairs off of Avery's neck, since she wouldn't wear the cape. That sent Avery over the edge.

But overall she did fantastic- there was never any screaming, just some fussing and trying to get out of the taxi! And her hair looks oh so cute. They did such a great job and I was very impressed by the entire experience.
