Sugar & Spice

I've always heard of parents putting a special tree in their child's room and I have always thought it was a ridiculous idea! Why do they need a tree? Wont they mess with it? Is it really a safe idea? Well after seeing so many blogs where parents showed the tree in their child's room, I caved. Especially when I saw this adorable pink mini-tree on Kelly's Korner blog. The pink tree she decorated for her daughter is so much cuter than mine though- I just need more ornaments! It looks so sweet in Avery's very pinkalicous room...it adds a little sugar and spice for the holidays:) The tree and ornaments all came from Walmart and cost around $25 total. I simply draped a lime green blanket around the bottom for a tree skirt and added a plush baby doll as a topper! It makes her room feel festive and whimsical...I love it, I just need to add some more ornaments!!!!!
