The Life of a Stay At Home Mom

When you stay in your home 75% of the time in effort to keep your child on a nap schedule, stay away from any yucky illness like H1N1 or to avoid having to shower for the day, your sense of self appreciation goes out the window. Not like I had any fashion sense to begin with but these days I look like I belong on the streets. And I'm ashamed to say that my child is following my footsteps and has begun to look like a hobo...
We ran out to Sonic this morning so Mommy could have a little pick-me-up Diet Coke. It was very cold out, Avery's battling the sniffles and so I tried to bundle her up. This is the ensemble that I came up with...It's sad really...my New Years resolution is to fix my hair every day and to make myself look a little more presentable, even if I'm going to Walmart where all appearances are acceptable. Now added to my New Years resolutions- don't let Avery fall into the same pattern at such a young age:)
Watch out Stacy London...Avery's coming for your job!!!!!!! What Not To Wear Babies Edition!

Oh I feel your pain! There are days when I make myself shower and get dressed, just to feel like a human!
