Happy 4 months Avery

My sweet pea is 4 months old today and I can hardly believe how fast 4 months has gone by! I know it is so cliche to say so, but I feel like she is a completely different baby than the tiny, pink, wrinkled little girl I gave birth to 4 months ago. She is such a character and full of so much spunk! Here is our typical monthly chair picture...out of 30 shots (I'm not even kidding), this one is the cutest!

But I couldn't resist posting some of the other ones that I thought were oh so adorable or just plain hilarious! Look at these HUGE eyes...she's so beautiful!

Avery's 5th month started off with another doctor appointment. She weighed in at 14 lbs and 4 ounces (75%) and was 25 1/4 inches long (89%). She is growing perfectly and both the doctor and nurse commented on how tall she is, especially in her torso. She gets that from her Daddy! Sadly, she was due for more immunizations and she took them like a champ. She only cried for a minute after receiving them and was sound asleep by the time I pulled out of the parking lot. We drove around for awhile so she could get a good cat nap in.

Overall, Avery started her 5 month with a bang! And we received a very exciting phone call this morning from Miss Julie. Avery's BFF (whose name we will know shortly) should be arriving today:) Julie's water was leaking at her appointment this morning and she was already 5 cm dilated and 90% effaced. So she was sent over to the hospital to check in. When they were showing her to her room, her water broke completely. So baby girl Cole should arrive soon and she and Avery will be exactly 4 months apart! How fun is that...

Elizabeth Ann Cole was born today at 6:28 pm! She weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and she is beautiful...Avery can't wait to meet her new playmate!
