Babe in Toyland

At almost 4 months old, Avery is finally showing interest in some of her toys. She has always loved laying under her activity gym and batting at some of the hanging things but nowadays it's whatever she can grab and put in her mouth. Her motor skills have gotten so much stronger and she isn't just a lump of baby who lays there anymore. Appropriately, I used to manage an upscale toy store before I had Avery and stayed home with her. Learning Express was my home away from home and it's where most of these toys are from. It's so different being a parent and thinking about what exactly your baby is into developmentally rather than a salesperson trying to sell. But right now, Avery's favorite toy is the Winkel which you can find at your local Learning Express(hey Celeste)!!! She loves it because whichever end she grabs, she can stick it in her mouth and chew on it:)
