Bluebonnets

The bluebonnets are absolutely gorgeous this year and I was so excited to get some cute pictures of my cute girls! We found the adorable town of Chappell Hill three years ago when we first took Avery out in the bluebonnets. We've gone back every year since. It's about 45 minutes outside of Houston towards Brenham/College Station and it's worth the drive. You almost feel like you're in the Hill Country when you drive down the country roads. It was sunny out and the girls were having a rough time looking at the camera without squinting. Cate wasn't feeling very well, so she wasn't having it. But we got some decent shots.

But we also got some hilariously awful shots too! Eyes closed, crying, looking at who knows what, funky faces...you name it!!!

But then we loaded back in the car and got away from the crowds and found a small patch in the shade down a little road. And we got some precious shots like these gems...

First the rodeo and now bluebonnets...we're trying to bring these Texas girls up right! I love making these memories with my family.
