January Recap

So we're almost through February and I'm just now getting a chance to catch up on what we were up to in January! And the funny thing is, we weren't up to much. We started off 2012 celebrating at City Centre on New Years eve which was just perfect. The weather was nice which meant Avery was able to run around on the grassy area they have. They had a band playing and a bubble machine going so it was kid heaven. Cate took it all in from her car seat! We enjoyed a yummy dinner and we were home by 8 and put the kids to bed. I don't think we saw midnight:) Nana and Pops gave the girls a swing set for Christmas, so Pops came over to help Mark put it together. It proved to be slightly difficult. It was a two day process but the girls both love it. And since we are having such a warm winter, we have been outside playing LOTS!!! Keeping a toddler engaged and busy without always turning on tv has proven to be a challenge to me...hence the ride in the laundry basket:) Having a baby who needs her daily naps keeps us at home most days. We do get out and try to do things around nap time like errands and we have been to the zoo recently but I have a hard time finding things to do.
