I've taken so many pictures lately but haven't found the time to put them on the blog, so this is a random compilation of some cute recent pics of Avery. These first two are pics I snapped as we were leaving for school. She gets so excited for school and loves to pick out her clothes; as soon as she's dressed, she runs down the hall screaming "Avery go to
schoo" and darts for the front door. She has turned into such a big girl and I have no idea how!
She was hanging out in her diaper the other day (I'm not sure what the
occasion was) and I was folding clothes. She grabbed a pair of Mark's underwear and somehow put them on correctly. I thought it was
hysterical so I grabbed a safety pin and pinned them on her. Then she put on his baseball
cleats and marched around in them. He came home a few minutes later and thought it was too funny. Silly girl!
We took a trip to the zoo with all our friends once the weather cooled off a bit. We had a great time and saw lots of fun animals including a GIANT
komodo dragon that Avery thought was too cool...freaked me out a bit.
There's a train that goes around all of Hermann Park and you can pick it up in front of the zoo. We have never gone before because when we're leaving the zoo, we're normally in a hurry to get home for a nap. But now that she goes to school and doesn't nap there, I'm no longer such a nap
nazi. We waited and waited and when the train finally came, it was
all worth it. She might have taken a nap on the train if the ride was any longer.
Avery has turned into a little girl before our eyes! She loves to go on adventures and be out and about. She is extremely vocal and chats ALL THE TIME. She loves school, loves animals, loves to say that she is a big girl, loves her friends and loves life. She's getting really excited about Elmo coming to her birthday party and has been talking non stop about it. She is the best
little girl and is so well behaved and loving. We have been blessed and love this kid so much!
