Our sweet, precious friend Luke Alston Jones turned one last week and we celebrated at his super fun candy themed party yesterday! I am mildly obsessed with party planning, mainly children's parties, so of course I loved all of the details Melissa put into the party! She thought of everything...candy bar, James Coney Island hot dogs, yummy cupcakes etc.
Melissa made these super cute frames by gluing candy around them...M&M's, Starburst, you name it. Such a crafty idea!
Avery started off her sugar binge with a juice box...soon to follow were a lollipop, M&M's, a cupcake, part of a hot dog, snow cone, Cheetos, another juice box (it was hot out) and who knows what else. Her sugar high was still going by bed time and she was singing at the top of her lungs in her crib around 8:00pm.

We had such a great time and we love Luke so much! I am so blessed to have such close girlfriends literally down the street. Our kids will get to grow up together and I wouldn't change that for anything. Their kids are like my own, so this special little boy means a lot to us. We love you Luke!
