We drove to Dallas last weekend to celebrate my big 30
th birthday with my parents! We went by Heritage Farmstead on Saturday morning to get out of the house and to go see some of Avery's favorite animals. It was blazing hot but she really enjoyed running around and seeing goats, chickens, sheep and mules.
We had a yummy dinner out to celebrate my birthday...and then we enjoyed cake and ice cream back at home. Avery was not a fan of my trick candles that kept relighting. But she picked up "Happy Birthday" real quick and it is now her favorite song to sing!

I have joked about turning 30 for a long time and Mark makes fun of me for being so old (he'll be 30 exactly a month after me). But honestly, I am blessed to have such wonderful friends and an amazing family...and I couldn't be more thrilled and blessed to enter my 30's. I look forward to what this next decade holds!!!
