Last weekend we drove up to Dallas to see Aunt Meredith. Her birthday was on the 12th and mine was on the 16th, so she flew in from San Diego so we could celebrate together! She hasn't been home since she moved last September and she hadn't seen Avery since she was born so this was a special trip for all of us!!!!!
We took Miss Avery up to the Willowbend Mall so she could play on their cool playground. The entire playground has soft, foam pieces of food for the kids to crawl on. It was so cute!

Every time we would lead her towards something cool to climb on, she would crawl right back to
Gramps shoes and play with his laces...again, why is it the small stuff that they aren't
supposed to be into that holds their interest the most?!?!
Grammie walked around like a nervous wreck trying to keep Avery from hurting herself or fall off a piece of food...rightfully so! My child is such a dare devil:)

Nothing says fun more than a giant pepper, right?!?! This is supposed to be a giant plate with food on it, so it kind of curls up and Avery couldn't get off of it. It was funny to watch!

Then we got all dressed up and went out for a delicious birthday dinner on Saturday night...Avery loves to smile for the camera and so does
Grammie!

And look...Aunt Meredith makes the same funny face as
Grammie does!!! They must be related.

Avery was more interested in watching the doggies run around...she loves Daisy and Elvis.

Family Picture

Of course we spent a lot of time playing in the pool...dogs included!

And somehow
Gramps got
Grammie on the back of the
motorcycle- I'm not sure how though???

But most importantly, Avery and Mere got to spend some great time together and play! Avery loves her Aunt Mere-Mere!!!!!!!!

And so we packed up and headed home on Mommy's birthday...what a great way to spend my actual birthday! But the weekend's events and people made up for the ride in the car all day:)
