Wild Weekend

We have been non stop on the go the last few weeks and this weekend was no exception. When Mark got home from work on Friday (his office works until 12 or so), we thought Avery would enjoy playing in the sprinklers on a hot, humid Houston afternoon. This was not the case...

So we switched gears and tried out the pool again, thinking she would surely like the pool. She was yet again not having it...maybe she likes our hot weather and the cool water is just too much cold for her. Who knows!

Then her big girl seat showed up Friday afternoon so she of course had to try it out before we set it up in the car. Let me tell you, Britax knows how to make a car seat. She rode around in it throughout the weekend and she loved it. It's higher up so she can see out the window better. She would just stare out the window the entire car ride and ignore the toys sitting in front of her!

On Saturday, Grammie & Gramps came to visit (my parents) so Avery had to show them her new aerobics moves. This kid cracks me up...she much prefers to lounge on her side rather than lay on her tummy or back. She'll be teaching jazzercise classes before you know it.

We went to the Astros game on Sunday with my parents and stupid me forgot my camera. Avery had a great time at the game again. We grabbed a bite to eat after the game was over, then it was home to feed a VERY hungry baby and put her to bed after a super busy but fun day!
