Christmas Round 1

Over the weekend, my parents came into town so we could celebrate Christmas with them early. They are spending Christmas with my sister in San Diego since it's our year here with the Shelfer side. We had a great visit lounging around and hanging out. Avery hasn't been feeling too well so we took it easy! She really got into opening presents this time- she ripped into that paper with a vengeance.
Grammie and Grandpa got Avery the crib and mobile for her Bitty Baby and she loves them! She has rediscovered her baby doll and likes to put her to sleep in her crib and "feed" her a bottle. Good practice- we'll see how she does with the real baby:)
I went for my screen test EARLY this morning...this is for measuring the spine and testing for things like Downs Syndrome and Spina Bifida. Everything looked great and baby was moving and shaking! The kid is very active apparently- I don't think I've felt anything yet though. The heartbeat was 163 which is pretty much what Avery's was the entire time...which leads me to believe that this baby might be another girl! We'll see though in about 6 more weeks. I can hardly wait:) I feel so blessed!

I recently came across your blog and wanted to take a moment of your time to inquire about any guest posting opportunities that you may have on your blog. I've written an informational and educational article on the importance of early childhood education that I believe your readers of (http://theshelfers.blogspot.com/) would be interested in.

Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.
