Meeting the big guy

Nana invited us to her Pi Phi alumni Christmas function so Avery could meet Santa and Mommy could skip the lines at the mall! So yesterday after school, we headed over to meet the big guy. We talked about it all day long and Avery was so excited. I never thought she would be afraid of him but had no clue just how much she would LOVE him.
When we first saw Santa, Avery sprinted towards him and practically attacked him. She was very fine with sitting in his lap...in fact, she stalked Santa after our turn was over. She went back into the room and we chased after her only to find Santa holding her again! I think she would have gone back to the North Pole with Santa. She was in heaven! And since we're having a second baby, this blog is going to have to start changing a bit. It can't be ALL about Avery anymore. So here is baby #2's debut on the blog... We went for the first appointment and baby looks great. I was 7 weeks exactly on the day of the appointment and baby was measuring just a day or two behind that. No big deal though. I'm ready to say goodbye to this 1st trimester nastiness. And I need my energy back!!! Other than that, this pregnancy feels identical to my first. We are beyond happy about this new baby and thank God for another blessing!
