Thankful

I have no pictures to post from our Thanksgiving (sorry Mom) because I was too busy running around after Avery, but I did want to write a little something. We had a great time at the Shelfer's for Thanksgiving today and Avery is hopefully fast asleep after a long, napless day. Thanksgiving will always have a special place in my heart and hold some of my most cherished memories because our daughter was born 3 days after. I've been remembering the days after Thanksgiving last year thinking "This time last year we went to a movie" and "This time last year I started having contractions", "This time last year we were on our way to the hospital". I am obviously so VERY thankful for our beautiful, perfect healthy Avery Grace. I am also thankful that God trusts Mark and I to be her parents here on Earth. I can only hope that we raise her to be full of integrity, loving and caring to others and to have a heart that loves and trusts the Lord. I am also thankful for all of our family, the support and love they have shown us during some tough times, for Mark's job in this economy, our health and for the food, clothes and home that we have. God has blessed us so much and I try to remember that everyday, not just on Thanksgiving. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too! May God bless you all!
