Bedtime Routine

Our schedule/routine is becoming much easier these days! Every night, we do the same bedtime routine so Avery can begin to associate these things with going to sleep. The four B's are bottle, bath, books, bed! We've been doing this every night for the past two or three weeks and she's really adapted well to it. Of course she LOVES her baths but she also enjoys reading with Daddy every night. It's their special thing to do together since Mark is away from her all day. It's so sweet to see him with her...he loves his little girl!

Anyone familiar with "Brown Bear Brown Bear"? You know, the one with the yellow duck and the red bird and the green frog etc. Well there is also a purple cat and a blue horse...which we all know don't exist. I was listening over the monitor to Mark read that book to Avery the other night and he was going through the list..."a brown bear, a red bird, a yellow duck, an imaginary purple cat, a green frog, a white dog, an imaginary blue horse" and so on. Leave it to Mark to be precise and accurate even when it comes to children's story books:)
